Join award-winning poet, author, and educator Mark Kessinger for a four-week poetry workshop in celebration of National Poetry Month this April!

Participants will gain insight into the creative process from a seasoned, published poet while refining their own writing skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether you’re a beginner or a practiced poet, this workshop will help you find and develop your unique poetic voice while gaining a deeper appreciation for the craft of poetry.

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English placement test must be passed for class admittance. Students must commit to attending all classes. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Need help filing your taxes? AARP has expert and trained volunteers at the Kingwood Branch Library to help you file them for free!

The service is first come, first serve. No registration or appointments required. Please be sure to bring the following items with you: driver’s license, Social Security Card, and any relevant tax information for everyone included on the tax return.

Did you know that most IRS forms are available for free to print? Visit www.irs.gov.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.

Classes will be taught by a representative from Texas A&M Agrilife Extension.
