Join us at the Aldine Branch Library for a monthly series on zine-making! This workshop will be led by an accomplished local writer, poet and teacher. 

What's a zine? Pronounced "zeen", it is typically a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images.

No registration required! Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring magazines, comics, newspapers, etc.

Join the library and The Michelle Project for a special Saturday story time! These interactive story times are suitable for all ages and abilities. We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!

Join us for registration for Beginner or Advance ESL classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays! REGISTRATION will be held in person on the following days and times: April 15, 17, 22, and 24 from 12pm - 1:30pm. You must register and take the assessment before you can attend classes.

Storytelling like you’ve never heard it before takes center stage as an opera singer presents an engaging and enjoyable introduction to opera for students Pre-K-2.

Today's Story time will feature the story: The Three Little Pigs. This 30-minute opera is perfect for young attention spans and a delightful introduction to how music can make a beloved story come alive!

You're invited to attend Story Time every Tuesday at 11 am. 


Story Time is a great way for children to build early literacy skills with stories, rhymes and songs. Parents are encouraged to participate by sitting with children and singing (and learning!) new songs. 

Last half hour is craft time! 

Children of all ages are welcome.

Join us for Lobsters in Libraries - an interactive storytelling experience about a little-known symbiotic relationship in the ocean! Meet Mr. Lobster and Symba, a tiny marine animal that lives on Mr. Lobster’s whiskers and eats his leftovers! This event will include spoken narration, live music, artistic costumes, and engaging activities for children.
