Jacinto City Branch Library

Join us for the Great Park Adventure – a summer-long journey of discovery, nature, and fun! We’ll begin our adventure at the JC Library before heading outdoors to explore one of the parks nearest to our community. Each session, children will learn about the importance of parks in preserving nature, conserving biodiversity, and providing spaces for recreation and learning.

Special guests from Texas A&M Forest Service, Bayou Preservation Association, Sheldon Lake State Park, and Big Bend National Park will help guide our exploration!

The Houston Grand Opera presents the Sing! Move! Play! Camp at the JC Library! The daily program is filled with singing, rhythmic movement, and creative play. An HGO Teaching Artist will lead children in grades Pre - K – 2 through the music from classic operas, adapted for young audiences.
