Come expand and enhance your skills in the art of needlepoint through small projects, long term projects and discussions. All are welcome to participate by bringing their own projects, beginners welcome. Have fun learning this beautiful art.

If you knit, crochet or do any other form of needlecraft please join us for the Freeman Needlecrafters. While attendees are happy to help others through the difficult parts of a project, this club is not intended as a class for instruction.

Recommended for children 18 months to 3 years old. Toddlers will learn as they dance, move, and play with developmentally appropriate toys!

Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available for this dance program at 10:00 am when the library opens. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Lines for the tickets sometimes form before the tickets are distributed. Tickets can run out very quickly so please plan accordingly.

Do you have questions about various kinds of technology? Then we welcome you to our Hour of Tech on Thursday, March 27 from 10:15 to 11:15 AM! In this 60-minute session, Freeman Library Staff will address queries on desktops/laptops, smartphones, digital tablets, HCPL eMedia, and more.

This free event will NOT require registration.

*Please note that device repair and diagnostics are unavailable in Hour of Tech.

This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting and Cricut operation and software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter or Cricut machine and heat press.

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English placement test must be passed for class admittance. Students must commit to attending all classes. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Join us to create a color-changing object with the heat of your hands!

Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12. These programs are designed to engage children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities and change on a monthly basis.

Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
