Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Esta sesión de orientación mostrará a los participantes los servicios de corte láser que tenemos en la biblioteca. Aquellos que terminen la orientación podrán pedir tiempo supervisado para utilizar una cortadora láser en cualquier sucursal de HCPL que tenga una. Es necesario asistir a esta orientación antes de poder solicitar tiempo para usar una cortadora láser más adelante.

Spring into a new hobby! In this program you will learn about a new hobby every week such as gardening or jewelry making, and get a chance to try out! The goal of this program is to spark a child's interest in learning a new hobby. This program is for children in Kindergarten- 5th grade.
Space is limited; Please pick up your free tickets at the Children's Reference Desk every Monday at 4:00 PM

This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut operation and software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.

  • This class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Registration required.

Teens, want to get involved with making the library an inviting and fun place for teens? Or just need some volunteer hours? 

Join our Teen Advisory Group (TAG)! Grades 6-12 welcome (if 18, must still be in high school).
Teens will assist in planning teen programs they want to see offered at the library.
