Come in and have a chance to explore 10 different minute-to-win-it challenge stations. Can you complete them all?

Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12. These programs are designed to engage children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities and change on a monthly basis.

Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Explore center of gravity and create a balancing friend to take home with you in this fun afternoon STEAM program!

First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.

Paint and decorate your very own pumpkin, no carving required. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own pumpkin or extra craft materials to make it uniquely yours!
