Grades 3 to 12 bring your binders and come play Pokémon! Game mats and a limited number of gaming packs will be available. Parents must sign a permission slip to allow their children to trade cards. Library staff are not responsible for ensuring the equality of any trade between players based on card value (or sentimentality)

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for the Mid-gradian adventures of your "stranger" dreams!
Sharpen your creativity, build social interaction and problem solving skills, learn new vocabulary, practice maths, and while you're at it, slay a few dragons.
Come enjoy some tween/teen-centered fantasy role-playing. Participants will take on the roles of wizards and warriors; facing challenges and forging friendships.
This program is best suited for tweens and teens only; ages 11 to 17.

Storytime for children using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Build your child’s communication through shared reading! Families will learn to model language on AAC devices, foster a love of books, and connect through this interactive story time.

Join us for our brand new Tween Book Club! We will discuss the book of the month, have snacks, and enjoy book related activities. This month we will be reading "Race to the Sun" by Rebecca Roanhorse. On Friday, November 7th we will discuss chapters 1-23 and on Friday, November 21st we will discuss chapter 24 through the end of the book.
For high school and middle school students only. Meet in the computer lab for crafts, movies, & games.
Book-or-Treat! Visit the Kingwood Library from 3-7pm to trick-or-treat at our customer service desks and receive a free book*, prizes, and candy! Costumes are encouraged! This activity is for children of all ages, no tickets or registration required. *Supplies are limited; book-or-treat will end at 7pm or once supplies are gone.

We will meet in-person in the Spring Branch Memorial Library Meeting Room.

Need a chill place to focus? Drop by our teen study lounge for relaxing lo-fi beats, cozy vibes, and free boba tea while you work on homework or creative projects. Open to tweens and teens in 6th grade through 12th grade (ages 11-18).
