Northwest Branch Library presents the Teen Anime Club! Join us on 2nd and 4th Mondays to eat snacks, do crafts, and watch anime.
All participants must be 6th grade+
Hey Teens and Tweens, come join local artist Richa for a Hyperrealistic Sketching Workshop at Maud Marks! Supplies provided.
Grades 3 to 12 bring your binders and come play Pokémon! Game mats and a limited number of gaming packs will be available. Parents must sign a permission slip to allow their children to trade cards. Library staff are not responsible for ensuring the equality of any trade between players based on card value (or sentimentality).
Teens! Hang out, play games, and do something awesome at the library! We have tablets, a huge digital table, game consoles, and more for FREE use. Meet new friends, challenge yourself, and unleash your creativity!

This orientation session will introduce participants to Resin 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Formlabs Form 3 Resin 3D printer.
This class is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your own project to our monthly teen fiber arts group! Come to chat and work on your current project, get ideas for new projects, and be inspired by your fellow fiber artists. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, embroidery, quilting, or anything in between, if you can bring it with you, you can work on it. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school. This presentation, hosted by FutureU and presented by a former academic advisor, will introduce you to the information you need to know prior to enrolling in this highly distinguished discipline. We will discuss pre-requisite courses, honors opportunities, career outcomes, extracurriculars, and other requirements that will be expected by colleges and universities.
Join us for our Cricut orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the Cricut in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut. Attendees will receive the Cricut and Cricut Explore Air 2 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
What is a Teen Advisory Board (TAB)? A group of teen volunteers who meet monthly with the Teen librarian to offer input on teen and tween library services and programs. Grades 6 to 12.
