Calling all genealogists! We’ll be hosting free Spring Sessions this month on FamilySearch, a free, online resource for genealogy/family history research. These Sessions will be on Friday, May 09 and Friday, May 30, each beginning at 4:15 PM in the Upstairs Computer Training Lab. No registration required but space is limited.
The Next Chapter Feature Film Series concludes for the season on Thursday, May 15 starting at 10:15 AM. We look forward to showing The Wild Robot, the 2024 DreamWorks animated film about an intelligent robot called Roz who becomes stranded on an uninhabited island after a shipwreck. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island's animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. This film features the vocal talents of Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, and Bill Nighy.
Do you have questions about various kinds of technology? Then we encourage you to come to our Hour of Tech on Thursday, May 08 from 10:15 to 11:15 AM! In this 60-minute session, Freeman Library Staff will address queries on desktops/laptops, smartphones, digital tablets, HCPL eMedia, and more.
This free event will NOT require registration.
