If you are age 55+ and have been diagnosed with diabetes, or you are caregiving for someone else, you are invited to register to join us for a 6 week long program to learn skills to manage your conditions through healthy eating, stress management, and more!

Join us for a 10 week English Class for beginners! If you have not registered for the class, please come 15 minutes before class starts to fill out the registration form on your first day! You can join this class at any time throughout the 10 weeks.

UTMB presents a strength bodybuilding program for ages 60 and up. All exercises are safe for all levels of fitness, and most exercises are seated. Meet for 1 hour, 2 times per week, for 12 weeks, and to get stronger! Participants should bring their own dumbbells and be available to attend at least 14 of the 24 sessions.

The AARP Tax Volunteers will return to the Atascocita Library this year on Mondays from 9 AM - 1 PM beginning February 2nd through April 13th to assist people with their taxes. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. You don't need to be an AARP member to use the service.

Participants volunteer to lead discussions and they pick the material. Normally they will propose a title and everyone agrees. This is a laid back but serious group.  They meet in person, February - November.
