Do you need help with technology? Book a 45-minute appointment with a staff member, we will try to help you figure it out!
Registration is required. To assist as many individuals as possible, you may only register for one appointment per week. If no one arrives by 1:15, the appointment will be canceled.This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to cross-stitching, which is a form of counted-thread embroidery using X-shaped stitches to create a pattern.
This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be able to help their children with the project.This program involves sharp embroidery needles and embroidery scissors.Registration is required due to limited supplies and seating.Friends of Freeman Library are having their semi-annual porch book sale! A whole porch full of books for all ages at rock bottom prices to help you tackle your holiday shopping! A large selection of clearance fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, paperbacks, DVDs and CDs awaits you. Also available will be our exclusive book-themed merchandise from the Friends of Freeman: mugs, totebags, and bookmarks. 100% of proceeds go to fund Freeman Library programs. We will also be hosting a Members-Only preview on Friday, November 7th from 4-5:30p.
Calling all genealogists! We’ll be hosting free Fall Sessions this month on FamilySearch, a free, online resource for genealogy/family history research. These Sessions will be on Friday, November 07 and Friday, November 21, each beginning at 4:15 PM in the Upstairs Computer Training Lab. No registration required but space is limited.

As of 11/6 we have started a new project of making cat mats/blankets size 12 inches x 8 inches for the South Houston Animal Shelter. We are also making small crochet pet ornaments for their tree and kennels. If you'd like more information please reach out through email.
