UTMB presents a strength bodybuilding program for ages 60 and up. All exercises are safe for all levels of fitness, and most exercises are seated. Meet for 1 hour, 2 times per week, for 12 weeks, and to get stronger! Participants should bring their own dumbbells and be available to attend at least 14 of the 24 sessions.

**All participants should register with both the library and with UTMB. **

We'll kick things off with a quick and easy Canva demo—no tech skills or devices needed. Just bring your imagination, and we’ll take care of the rest. Leave with a one-of-a-kind ornament and a whole lot of creative confidence!

Embroider a 4 inch hoop with a fun, festive design. Add your own custom touch by adding a 2x2 photo of friends, family members or pets! 

Supplies are provided. Registration is required due to supplies and space limitations.

Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Join us for an exciting fitness program from UTMB! Open to patrons ages 60+.

Geri-Fit is a tier III (highest level) evidence-based health promotion program and chronic disease self-management support program. Designed exclusively for older adults, Geri-Fit helps rebuild strength that's been lost through the aging process. Any older adult, regardless of their age or fitness level, can participate. 

Classes are offered twice a week -- Tuesday and Thursday for 45 minutes.
