Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from February 23rd - May 4th, 2026. The Buddies will meet on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.
Join us for light refreshments as we welcome a local author for story time fun.
This program for ages 3 and up.
The local author is Ryanne Siddiq, best selling author of "Speedy Phoebe" and the Carson Elementary series.
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a 3D printer.
Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. The Spring cycle of Book Buddies will run from February19th to April 30th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.
Join us for an "After School Boardom" celebrating Pokémon Day with some special games and fun! This program is geared for elementary school age children and their caregivers.

Join us for a special "I Have A Dream" Lego club celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and African American History Month. Our "Rock the Block" Lego club is free to attend. This STREAM program is geared for elementary school age children and their caregivers. See what new designs you can draft and have fun collaborating with other kids in this creative environment.
