In collaboration with the Jacinto City Library, the Healthy Start is a dynamic affiliate program for parents in Harris County Public Health. The program strives to reduce infant mortality rates in Harris County and reduce health disparities by providing comprehensive, community-driven care and support to high-risk populations.

This program intends to provide the following resources:

Prenatal and well-child visits linkagesPhysical and mental health education accessExpectant mothers/fathers/partners/caregivers workshopsWrap-around services/education/supportNon-medical issue assistanceFood insecurityHousing/transportation instabilityDomestic violenceBasic Needs Assistance

It is a voluntary and free service addressing the unique needs of participants in Harris County.
