Palestinian embroidery, or Tatreez in Arabic, is an artistic tradition in Palestine and among members of the diaspora. Together, we will embroider a traditional design and learn about the origins of Tatreez.

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English placement test must be passed for class admittance. Students must commit to attending all classes. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
This class will teach you the basics of Microsoft Word as well as some of the tips and tricks that are needed to create and navigate your documents.
All classes start within five minutes of the announced time; classes are cancelled if no registered attendees arrive within fifteen minutes of announced time.

Teens are invited to make candles from scratch! Add your own scents and colors for the perfect gift or addition to your space. All materials will be provided. Liability waivers will be required due to the handling of hot wax and must be turned in by the start of the program. Waivers are available at the upstairs reference desk.
